This statue depicts the death of Jesus Christ. Three days later He rose again, this event is the cornerstone of Christianity. The crucifixion is one of the stations of the cross. The raw file was processed and converted to monochrome in Digital Photo Professional. The tonal range was adjusted further in Elements.
