IMG_1889A_Northern Mockingbird in Flight

A mockingbird takes off from the lamp post and then lands on the same street light. The raw file was processed in Digital Photo Professional. The image was edited in PaintShop Pro, The mockingbird was selected and its tonal range was adjusted in a curves layer with an opacity of 44%. A second curves layer, with an opacity of 53% and a screen blending mode, was used to brighten the sky. A hue/saturation/lightness layer was used to rmove the yellow, green, and cyan tints from the lamp post. The cloning tool was used to remove a white speck on the bird.
